Meet the Founder
Botanical beauty, personal expression, and the art of making a space feel like home.
Where nature
meets design.
Ernette V. Martin founded E. Valencia Design Group out of a love for distinctive tropical foliage and beautifully considered spaces. Her eye for texture, form, and detail shapes a botanical point of view that is expressive, sophisticated, and personal.
Her love of plants is also a way of honoring her mother, whose appreciation for beauty and greenery left a lasting imprint. E. Valencia Designs keeps that legacy alive—one thoughtfully chosen plant and one beautiful space at a time.
For Ernette, plants are not simply accessories. They are living elements of design—bringing warmth, character, and beauty to the places where we gather, work, and recharge.
Through curated collections of Philodendrons, Alocasias, and Anthuriums, alongside botanical styling and interior décor, E. Valencia invites you to create a space that feels unmistakably yours.
Being surrounded by beautiful things was my mother’s forte. From the curtains, to the mirrors and each comforter that graced our beds, every detail mattered. She had an extraordinary eye for beauty and a gift for transforming ordinary spaces into something special.
But it was her love for plants that brought a different kind of magic into our home. She could take a simple leaf, nurture it with love and patience, and grow it into something magnificent. In her hands, beauty wasn’t just something you purchased—it was something you could create.
Her passion for beauty, her attention to detail, and her gift for bringing life into a space became the inspiration behind E. Valencia Designs. And her words remain our guiding philosophy:
“If it ain't no beauty,
you got to make some beauty!”
